As a highly trained clock maker, I believe that the work I do is as close as you can come to having your clock restored by the original maker. I take great care to make missing and replacement parts using the same materials, styles and techniques used to create the original.

I am prepared to undertake any reasonable repair request on antique timepieces of fine quality. Amongst others, I offer the following services:

Care and attention to detail is a very important part of my service. Therefore I always like to deliver and set up longcase clocks. This prevents any accidental damage and ensures that the clock will run as intended. I would not feel comfortable handing over a clock to a customer who (for example) was not sure how to hang a pendulum correctly.

For the customer's future reference, my invoices include a picture of the clock on which the work was undertaken, and I also provide a more detailed separate report outlining the nature of that work (including pictures). I include basic historical reseach detailing any significant information relating to the history of the clock and its maker. Lastly, I provide a CD containing electronic copies of all of the above documents, together with pictures taken and a copy of my guide to caring for antique clocks.
